Ethanol industry representatives attempted to get President Obama’s attention to talk biofuels policy while he was in Watertown, South Dakota Friday. Glacial Lakes CEO Jim Seurer says their primary message to the President was they don’t want him to turn his back on the RFS because it has been important to the economy.
Seurer says the RFS and the ethanol industry have had a significant impact on the economy in not just Watertown, but across the nation.
Seurer says the ethanol industry also hopes to get the same message across to those in Congress who want to roll back or repeal the RFS.
