National Biodiesel Board leaders are focusing on priorities coming out of last week’s annual conference held in Fort Worth, Texas. CEO Joe Jobe says getting the biodiesel tax credit permanent or longer than one year is one major priority.
Jobe says another goal is to get EPA to finalize the Renewable Fuel Standard that they failed to get done last year.
Jobe says while he’s hopeful Congress will pass tax reform this year, knows it won’t be easy to get done quickly.
Jobe says Congress needs to avoid past partisanship and get back to governing efficiently and effectively.
