Sexual orientation would be added to Nebraska’s anti-discrimination laws under a bill introduced in the legislative session.
Senator Adam Morfeld of Lincoln says the time hasn’t come for such legislation, it passed long ago. . .

ConAgra executive Chris Kircher says the Omaha-based agri-business made a decision to take that step some time ago. . .

Another measure introduced in the legislature would allow same-sex couples to become foster parents in Nebraska. A third would allow both partners in a same-sex relationship to be considered the parents of adopted children.
