South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard has signed into law Senate Bill 46. State Agriculture Secretary Lucas Lentsch says that gives his department authority to spend private funds for construction of the Nordby 4H exhibit hall on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron.

Lentsch says besides the Governor’s backing, state legislators also have contributed to the project.

Lentsch says once it’s constructed the Nordby 4H Hall will feature 30,000 square feet of exhibit space, classrooms and a functioning kitchen.
