A Nebraska State Senator wants to have a card game considered a game of skill instead of gambling.
Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill says if poker is changed to a game of skill, it would then become legal.

Larson is introducing a bill into the Unicameral that would allow poker to be played in licensed facilities.

Larson says there would be a split of the pots played on legal poker.

Larson says it could be incorporated into plans to take pressure off rising property taxes.
