Big Shrimp Facilities Coming to Western Minnesota

Western Minnesota will soon be home to a major shrimp production facility. The Tru Shrimp Company plans to build a shrimp hatchery in Marshall and a shrimp production facility in Luverne.

The plant will produce about eight million pounds of shrimp every year. They will need about one hundred twenty five workers, and groundbreaking is set for next year.
