A standing room only crowd packed the Governor’s Regional Workforce Summit at Mitchell Technical Institute.

Paul Muth  of Muth Electric in Mitchell says his company is a stake-holder in workforce development…..

 

Jim Borzich of the Greater Huron Development Corporation says like Mitchell and Yankton, there’s plenty of jobs available in his area, and not enough skilled workers to fill the positions….

 

The participants also shared possible solutions to the worker shortage.
