The Benedictine Institute of Leadership Ethics and Social Justice is giving Mount Marty College in Yankton the chance to experience a piece of biblical history.  The Saint John’s Bible is the first hand-written bible in over 500 years according to the institute’s director, Andrew Henrickson…

 

Mount Marty College has been given two of seven volumes on display for the public to view in the library.  Henrickson says there will also be several presentations where people can flip through pages and get a hands-on experience…

 

Henrickson says the bibles will be available at Mount Marty for one year, and any groups who can’t make it to Yankton, but would like the chance to see and learn about the volumes can call the college. Presentations featuring the bibles can be arranged in other locations.
