Besides two high profile marijuana issues, South Dakota voters last month also approved legalizing sports betting, based in Deadwood.

Owen says while sports betting may become available statewide, expects the control will be in Deadwood….

The 2021 session of the legislature will have to write the rules for sports betting which becomes effective on July first.
