A Bellevue, Nebraska eating establishment has won the Nebraska Beef Council’s Best Burger Award. Council’s Marketing Director Adam Wegner says Stella’s Bar and Grill was chosen from five finalists out of over 200 entries.
Wegner says from that, five finalists were named from which a panel of judges tasted samples from each. The Judge’s scores along with on line votes determined the winner which was Stella’s Cheeseburger.
Runner up honors went to the Union Bar in Gering ,The Peppermill restaurant in Valentine and Cellar Bar and Grill in Kearney tied for third with Sin City in Grand Island coming in fifth. Stella’s will receive the first place plaque and be featured by the Nebraska Beef Council in May as part of Nebraska Beef month.
