Bayer recently announced a distribution agreement with M.S. Technologies, L.L.C. for soybeans containing the Enlist E3 trait. Bayer will distribute soybean seed with Enlist E3 technology beginning in the 2023 crop season in brands that will be launched later this year. Kirk Leeds, CEO of the Iowa Soybean Association says this provides another great option for farmers.
He says even with this announcement he is being told that Bayer stays fully committed to improving and producing Dicamba resistant products.
Leeds says people need to remember this is a distribution agreement and not a license for the technology.
Soybeans with the Enlist E3 trait provide tolerance to glufosinate, new 2,4-D choline, and glyphosate herbicides.
