While a few bills get most of the attention in the South Dakota legislature, there are dozens of others working through the system.

Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton says the good bills outweigh what he calls the “bad bills.”..

He says bills singling out trans-gender students are issues best left at the local level…

Cwach says there are other bills dealing with autism treatments and college funds that need attention too…

Legislators will hit the halfway mark of the 2019 session this week.
