The new walking bridge to the island in the pond at Westside Park in Yankton was dedicated Monday.
The bridge was paid for in part by a two hundred-thousand-dollar donation from the Avera Health Foundation.
Avera Sacred Heart Hospital President Doug Ekeren says it is part of their one hundred twenty fifth anniversary…..https://on.soundcloud.com/wz4gj

The park is across the street from the hospital campus and Ekeren says it is a well known landmark…..https://on.soundcloud.com/8vVVC
The pond and bridge is one part of a multi-step reconstruction process.
