Avera Health Lands $8 Million Dollar Helmsley Grant

Avera Health has received a grant of almost eight million dollars from the Leona and Harry Helmsley Charitable Trust to expand behavioral health service availability.
Helmsley Trustee Walter Panzier says the grant is aimed at improving that service through Avera’s ECare system….

Dr Matt Stanley, Vice President of Avera’s Behavioral Health Service Line, says it will bring their services to more hospitals and clinics across the region….

Stanley says they will be able to deliver psychiatric care directly to patients in need…..

The three year grant extends to the fall of 2021.
