Basketball players from Augustana have earned weekly honors in the Northern Sun Conference South Division.

NSIC South Division Women’s Player of the Week
#32 Nicole Kerkhoff (F, 6-0, Sr., Morgan, Minn. / Cedar Mountain HS) – Augustana
– Averaged a double-double with 18.5 points and 12 rebounds per game
– Tied a career-high with 24-points while grabbing 11 rebounds in a 80-71 win at CSP
– Scored 13-points while grabbing 13 rebounds in a 87-73 win at Minnesota State
– Recorded first back-to-back double-double performances of the season
– Hit three triples, earning 13-points in the first quarter in CSP win

NSIC South Division Men’s Player of the Week
#34 Daniel Jansen (F, 6-9, 240, Sr., Orange City, Iowa / MOC-Floyd Valley HS) – Augustana
– Averaged 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in a pair of wins
– Opened the weekend with 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists in an 88-75 win over CSP
– Scored 10 of his 21 points at the free throw line connecting on 10-of-13 free throws
– Recorded his third double-double of the season (16th career) with 28 points and 11 rebounds at MSU
– Was 8-of-12 from the field and connected on 12-of-13 free throws against the Mavericks
– Dished out three assists to go along with three steals and a block at MSU
– Moved into fourth all-time in scoring at Augustana on the weekend
– Has scored 1,806 career points putting him 158 shy of the all-time career record at Augustana
– This marks the second time Jansen has been named NSIC South Player of the Week (12/14/15)
