Augustana softball, the top-ranked team in the Central Region, swept the region’s highest honors with Sarah Kennedy being named Daktronics Central Region Player of the Year and Jenelle Trautmann Pitcher of the Year.

Augustana had four players earn Daktronics All-Central Region honors. Kennedy, Trautmann and Caitlin Nichol all earned first team honors

. Carley Pickett was named to the second team as a pitcher.   Kennedy and Trautmann were recently named Top 10 finalists for the Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II National Player of the Year
