Augie Star Returns To Alma Mater

The Augustana Women’s Basketball program has announced the addition of Alex (Feeney) Nissen to its coaching staff, head coach Dave Krauth announced Monday.

Nissen, a 2013 graduate of Augustana, returns to her alma mater after coaching stints with South Dakota State, Central College and Roosevelt High School.

As a student-athlete for coach Krauth and the Vikings, Nissen was a four year starter and tallied 1,723 points to go along with 828 rebounds. She was named the NSIC Freshman of the Year during the 2009-10 season and earned first team All-NSIC honors her junior and senior seasons.
