The London Lions of the British Basketball League selected Augustana senior Jordan Spencer to play in the “Big Baller’s London Clash” on Monday, April 2, at Copper Box Arena, located at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England.
The Lions host Lithuania’s Vytautas BC in the game, a team that features both LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball, whose dad LaVar founded Big Baller Brand, a company that designs, manufactures and sells clothing and shoes. The oldest Ball brother, Lonzo, plays in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers.
A native of Milton Keynes, England, not far from London, Spencer exhausted his collegiate eligibility at Augustana in 2017-18 after setting numerous records over his four-year career. He holds Augustana career records with 918 assists, 130 games started and with 4,263 minutes played.
In addition to his overall records, Spencer also ranks in the top-10 all-time at Augustana in seven other categories, including points, where he finished his career ranked ninth all-time with 1,686.
