Augustana women’s cross country student-athlete, Mackenzie Kelly, was named the NSIC Women’s Athlete of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday.

Kelly, a native of Moorhead, Minn., earned NSIC Athlete of the Week honors after helping her team win the college division at the Woody Greeno Invite in Lincoln, Neb. this past weekend. Kelly finished first in the college division and eighth overall with a time of 22:20.8.

Kelly becomes the first Viking this cross country season to earn NSIC Athlete of the Week honors. This was Kelly’s second career NSIC Athlete of the Week honor.
