Ashford says he seek to find common-ground with majority Republicans in the House…and says he will support Republican bills that he finds has merit.
Ashford says Washington would do good to learn from the ways of Nebraska. . .


Ashford pulled off an upset when he defeated an incumbent Republican, Lee Terry, to win the 2nd Congressional District of Omaha.
