USDA has deregulated Dow’s 2-4-D resistant Enlist Duo soybeans. American Soybean Association President Ray Gaesser is pleased with the decision and now wants EPA to quickly finalize the label for the new low volatility Enlist Duo. He says the product will help growers in dealing with problem weeds.
Gaesser say the next thing that needs to be done is to make sure foreign customers governments quickly review and approve these new biotech events.
Gaesser says USDA deserves a great deal of credit for working to address delays in the biotech approval process.
