The American Soybean Association has joined over 30 other ag groups in forming the U.S. Agriculture Coalition for Cuba. ASA President and West Texas grower Wade Cowan says he’s hoping to see the Cuban market open wider to more U.S. commodities.
Cowan says by working as a coalition, he’s hoping that will help them be more successful in exporting a number of commodities.
Cowan says it’s important that as trade with Cuba evolves that it benefits both countries in the long run.
