The Environmental Protection Agency has once again found the weed killer glyphosate does not cause cancer. American Soybean Association Board Director Kevin Scott says it’s proof that glyphosate the chief ingredient is Roundup herbicide is a safe and effective product for growers.

He says the EPA based its decision on not only sound science but on the fact it’s been used in other countries and proven to be safe there.

Scott says glyphosate helps farmers with their sustainability and their usage of no till farming practices.

Bayer’s global president for crop science says Glyphosate based herbicides are one of the most thoroughly studied products of their kind which is the major reason farmers around the world continue to rely on these products.
