The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the registration of Enlist Duo Herbicide. That product is an important one for growers to have to control weed problems. American Soybean Association Board member and South Dakota farmer Brandon Wipf says the ruling is encouraging.

He says growers need all the weed control options available that they can get.

Wipf says while the Appeals Court’s decision sets a good precedent for the rest of the country, growers and chemical companies need to keep defending their products against anti ag organizations.

Wipf says ASA is remaining engaged with the Ninth Circuit following their decision to vacate the dicamba herbicide registration. BASF and Corteva Agriscience have asked for a rehearing on that issue.
