National signing day brought numerous high school standouts to area colleges on Wednesday.

Nebraska coach Mike Riley added twenty new Huskers from eleven different states. The haul includes 12 players on offense and eight on defense.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz added 22 new Hawkeyes which he says was the number they were shooting for. The new recruits come from ten states.

Iowa State’s Matt Campbell completed a 26-man addition. Recruiting analyst Rivals calls the class the best the Cyclones have had since they began their ratings in 2004.

New Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck was happy with a 25-man class. The former Western Michigan coach has only been on the job with the Gophers for a few weeks.
