The South Dakota Board of Regents approved a new
doctoral degree at their June meeting that will prepare South Dakota State University graduates to work in renewable
energy, bio-resource conversion, and natural resources fields. It’s the latest in a line of PHD programs added at SDSU.
Governor Dennis Daugaard has been making a push for more students to look at two year technical education as part of his workforce development.
