Forward Jeriah Horne has become the second Nebraska basketball player this week to announce he will transfer.

Coach Tim Miles said Wednesday that he’s disappointed Horne will be leaving but that he supports him. The forward played 29 games in a backup role as a freshman, averaging 4.3 points and 1.9 rebounds. Horne had a season-high 18 points in a win over Southern, one of his five double-figure performances.

Horne said it wasn’t an easy decision and that he’s grateful for the opportunity Miles gave him.

Forward Nick Fuller said Monday he will transfer for his final season of eligibility.
