South Dakota sophomore guard Ciara Duffy has been recognized among the NCAA’s Starting Five as one of the top women’s basketball performers in the nation last week.
Duffy received the fans’ vote by collecting 1,691 of 2,819 votes on a Twitter poll.
Duffy was named the Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday for the second consecutive week.
Duffy has tallied six consecutive double figure games since her return to the starting lineup with three made triples in each contest. She ranks 13th in the nation for 3-point field goal percentage (46.4) this season.
