The median sale price of a home sold in Iowa rose 5.9 percent from September of last year. The median price was $131,750 in September 2014 compared to $139,500 this year. Homes are also selling sooner — with days on market at 68 last month. In September of 2014, the properties were on the market for an average 84 days.
