Another Delay For Pipeline Hearing

The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission has decided that the public input session scheduled for next Monday, in Pierre, to hear comments about the construction permit certification for the South Dakota portion of the Keystone XL Pipeline will be postponed.

PUC Chairman Chris Nelson says that was because of the ongoing discovery process…

Trans Canada, who wants to build the pipeline across western South Dakota, is seeking to have its routing permit re-certified.

Nelson says they want to make sure both sides get a fair hearing…

Nelson says Trans Canada filed a huge amount of information with the commission…

Nelson says they will probably set a new hearing date at the commission meeting this Thursday.
