The Andes Central school district in Lake Andes is the latest small, rural district in South Dakota to move ahead with a major building project.
Superintendent Debera Lucas says their school board has approved a thirteen million dollar construction plan…..
Lucas says they will be able to offer more for their students….
Lucas says they have had expansion plans under study for about fifteen years, and have managed to save about six million dollars for the project…..
The rest will be financed with capital outlay certificates.
Lucas says they hope to break ground early this summer.
