Analysis Shows Rail Service Improving

The Soy Transportation Coalition along with the University of Minnesota have been surveying 42 grain handling facilities in South and North Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska on rail performance. Coalition Executive Director Mike Steenhoek says rail service during grain harvest has improved over last year.
Steenhoek says several factors have led to better rail service during grain harvest this year.
Steenhoek says they’re releasing rail service reports bi weekly from now through March because 80 percent of soybeans are exported between September and March. He says their next report will come out December 22.
