The losers in the ongoing Trade War between the United States and China is ultimately consumers and agriculture. That’s according to Don Haggar, South Dakota Director of Americans for Prosperity. He says when countries impose tariffs they damage the overall economy.

He says the way to foster better markets is through free trade not tariffs.

Haggar says the less government involvement there is in trade the better and the more free trade there is the more benefits there are.

Haggar says the sooner the Trade War can be resolved the better.
