The American Soybean Association (ASA) is now accepting applications for their longest running leadership program.

Erin Glarner, ASA Director of Industry and Stakeholder Relations, says that for 42 years the Corteva Agriscience Young Leader Program has been fulfilling a specific need.

“The program is really designed to serve as a springboard for leadership and career opportunities in both the agriculture and soybean industry,” Glarner said. “Currently we have seven of our nine executive members that have gone through the young leader program in the past including our current ASA president, Caleb Ragland…”

Two phases of the program will take participants from Iowa to Texas and will encompass a variety of leadership training. Participants need only to be over 21 years of age and actively farming to apply. Unique to the program, couples are invited to apply and participate in the program together.
