The American Farm Bureau Federation held their annual convention this week virtually for the first time ever. Minnesota Farm Bureau Public Policy Director Amber Hanson Glaeser participated. She says there’s some uncertainty with the new administration coming in and what they’ll do with regulations effecting agriculture.

She says one of the key issues Farm Bureau will focus on going forward is working for an Immigration bill to deal with the Ag Labor problem.

Glaeser says AFBF will also continue working to provide mental health assistance for those producers undergoing stress.

Glaeser says she’s pleased AFBF is taking a leadership role in helping address mental health in Rural America and is also proud of steps Minnesota Farm Bureau has taken at the state level to assist with that.
