An air quality alert from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has expanded.
The MPCA’s David Brown says the affected area includes the Twin Cities, Rochester, Mankato, Willmar, Hutchinson and the Tribal Nations of Prairie Island and Upper Sioux. He’s encouraging anyone with respiratory issues or heart problems to limit outdoor activity in these areas. The alert is in effect through the day.
