Artificial intelligence is becoming more of the norm when it comes to cancer diagnosis. Dr. Babu Guda is a Professor of Biotechnology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Buffett Cancer Center and says this will be a valuable tool in determining a treatment plan.

Guda says artificial intelligence can help predict cancer growth so physicians can develop an individualized treatment plan.

Guda says UNMC uses A-I technology for research purposes but it is not yet used in clinical practices. He says this is a fairly new technology and it will evolve in time.
