Two major ag funding victories were achieved during the 2015 Iowa legislative session. Iowa Farm Bureau President, Craig Hill says the most important win was achieved when the gas tax was approved to fund needed infrastructure projects and upkeep.

He says results of that are already being seen as it went into effect March 1st. Hill also says their other funding priority measure was for conservation.

He says also included in the conservation legislation was funding for drainage well closures.
