Ag Processing Incorporated, has announced the intent to expand its shipping port facilities located at Port of Grey Harbor at Aberdeen, Washington.  Officials say the plan is to construct additional storage, and to add to its state-of -the art loading facilities.  Matt Caswell serves as the Vice President of Membership, Corporate Relations and Government Affairs for AGP.  He says the expansion will mean more overseas business.

Caswell says the shipping port in the Pacific northwest is an important facility for AGP, and he says soybean meal and whole soybeans will both be shipped from the Grey Harbor port.

The AGP official says the cooperative has been targeting Southeast Asian markets for further growth within the soy-based product export trade.

Caswell says AGP believes the construction of the expansion will be completed with operations to begin in 2025. He says AGP officials are excited for the potential to build upon its foreign trading business through the new expansion of its shipping port.
