AGP COO Retiring Following 34 Year Career

Cal Meyer, AGP’s Chief Operating Officer who’s served 34 years with the company is retiring at the end of this year. AGP Vice President of Corporate Relations, and Government Affairs Matt Caswell says Meyer has played a crucial role in AGP’s management and leadership while continuing to assist in the evolution of the company to changing business and industry conditions.

He says throughout his AGP career Meyer has been instrumental with most of their major projects including the new soybean processing plant in Aberdeen which officially opens this summer.

Caswell says everything is progressing well with construction of the Aberdeen plant and they’re currently on schedule for that summer opening.

AGP is owned by local and regional cooperatives representing farmer-producers across the United States. Their corporate headquarters is in Omaha, Nebraska.
