Ag United for South Dakota elected a new president at their annual meeting. Centerville grain farmer Richard Vasgaard will lead the organization developed to support livestock production and development. He says as the organization celebrates its 10th anniversary they’ve accomplished many of the goals the group was founded for.

He admits though there is much more work to do educating the public about livestock production.

Ag United has also seen great success with their livestock open houses, pork and poultry crawls and Moms Days on the Farm events.
