Business leaders met with ag producers in northern Iowa to talk about common issues.
Members of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Capital Crossroads participated in the event, which was hosted by NEW Coop, a farmer-owned cooperative based in Fort Dodge. Dan Dix is the general manager of NEW Coop.
Dix says they talked about agronomy and fertilizer practices being used by farmers.
The Iowa Soybean Association helped coordinate the event.
