Ag Processing Incorporated’s Board of Directors has named a new CEO replacing Keith Spackler who earlier announced his intentions to retire. AGP’s Vice President of Corporate Relations and Government Affairs Matt Caswell says Chris Schaffer takes over as CEO On August 1.
He says Schaffer brings great experience to the job and has been with AGP for the past twenty seven years.
Caswell says Schaffer fits well with the company’s goals and comes from a great agricultural background.
AGP which had over $4 billion in annual sales in 2020 is one of the nation’s largest cooperatives and is owned by 149 local and regional cooperatives representing over 200,000 farmer producers across the United States.
