The Iowa Corn Grower’s Association along with the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association are asking the Biden Administration to take immediate steps to expand market opportunity for E-15. Corn Grower’s Director of Market Development Grant Menke says following a meeting last week by Cabinet members concerned at high pump prices, ICGA and IRFA sent their letter to the President.

He says the other important step the President must take is to allow the year round usage of E-15 once again.

Menke says the climate solution the Biden administration is looking for is available through corn ethanol.

Menke says currently there are over three billion gallons of low carbon American made Ethanol production capacity that could be used to fight inflations pressures.
