The Ag Defense Alliance, a national coalition of farmers and agricultural groups has launched a website providing information about their court case challenging California’s Prop 65 law. That regulation labels glyphosate as a probable carcinogen. The lead plaintiff in the case is the National Association of Wheat Growers. NAWG CEO Chandler Goule says glyphosate has been proven as a safe product and their website is an attempt to get that information out.

He says their website is in addition to the data they’ve put out on social media about glyphosate.

Goule says Prop 65 could set a precedent for other states regarding glyphosate so there are several negative ramifications to the regulation.

A California District Court has issued an injunction against the Prop 65 listing until it issues a final ruling in the case.
