One of the agricultural advisers for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says she spelled out decisively her position on trade during the first Presidential debate this week. Iowa farmer Pam Johnson, past National Corn Growers Association President says Clinton has a good trade policy, even though she’s opposed to the Trans Pacific Partnership.
She says Clinton’s reasons for opposing TPP make sense, especially as it relates to currency manipulation problems.
Johnson says Clinton’s opponent has a more unrealistic position on trade, particularly as it refers to the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Johnson says Clinton’s overall ag policy is much better than Republican opponent Donald Trump.
