Finding solutions to ongoing siltation of Lewis & Clark Lake is the goal of the Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition.

Executive Director Scott Kostal of Springfield says they have been working on an action plan….

Silt flowing into the lake, mostly from the Niobrara River, has been filling in the west end of the lake since the dam was closed in 1956.

Kostal says time and money are the big issues….

Kostal says they have some study costs to deal with…

The group will hold their annual meeting in Yankton on May 19th.
