The American Coalition for Ethanol is urging Congress to approve legislation introduced in both the House and Senate to allow for year round use of E15. ACE Executive Vice President Brian Jennings the Reid Vapor Pressure rule, which doesn’t allow E15 to be sold from June 1 to September 15, needs to be modified.

He says both pieces of legislation call for fixing the regulation and allowing the use of E15 in the summer months.

Jennings says support is growing in both the Senate and House for approving the legislation.

Jennings says this week his group launched a vigorous advertising campaign to convince lawmakers to pass the legislation.
