ACE Members Meet With Congress During Fly In

American Coalition for Ethanol members met with members of Congress last week at their annual Fly In. ACE CEO Brian Jennings says they made significant progress in gaining support for the Renewable Fuel Standard which has been under attack.

He says it looks like the EPA and the USDA are working to possibly lift the Reid Vapor Pressure rule so E-15 can be offered year round.

Jennings says what’s disturbing is that the EPA is looking at some way to give a win to refiners in exchange for lifting of the RVP.

He says when the RINS prices come down, then ethanol producers, refiners and retailers all win.
