Today, the Environmental Protection Agency released their final rule extending the Reid Vapor Pressure waiver to E-15 during the summer months to allow the sale year-round of the fuel. American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings is pleased with the agency’s move.

He says the EPA’s decision means ethanol demand will increase significantly in the future.

Jennings while pleased President Trump followed through with his promise says the EPA still need to correct the RFS small refiner waiver problem.

Jennings says allowing yearly use of E15 means more access to markets for ethanol producers and farmers and also access to a lower priced, higher octane fuel for consumers.
